Is tap water in Brela safe to drink? Yes, the tap water in Brela, Croatia, is safe to drink. This means you can confidently use it for drinking, cooking, and personal hygiene during your stay at Nilan Studios. To reassure you further, we have installed a water filter to reduce the hardness of the water, ensuring perfect drinking water throughout your stay. Bring your own refillable water bottles and contribute to both the environment and your wallet.
- WIFI: Connect to the fast WIFI using the QR code or manual connection details.
- Air Conditioning: Please use the air conditioning responsibly and turn it off when not necessary or when you’re out.
Bonus tip: for a good night sleep, use the sleep mode of your AC for a quiet night. - Check-out: Please vacate your Studio by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
- Key Return: On your departure, make sure to leave the key in the door.
- Studio Security: Lock doors and close windows. Turn off electrical appliances (TV, air conditioning) before leaving.
- Window Shutters: Lock or close the window shutter when leaving to protect against strong wind.
- Access by Owner: The owner may occasionally enter the Studio to prevent damage or ensure safety.
- Respect for Property: Avoid damaging equipment, causing disorder, or disturbing other guests.
- Noise: No loud noises between 11 pm and 8 am.
- Studio Items: Do not remove appliances and equipment (towels, covers, hairdryer, etc.) from the Studio.
- Facility Usage: Only registered guests can use the apartment’s facilities.
- Prohibited Items: Weapons, explosive materials, and flammable substances are strictly prohibited.
- Pets: Prior permission is required to bring pets.
- Appliances and Equipment: Leave towels, covers, hairdryer, keys, etc. in your Studio when you check out.
- Reporting Damage: Inform the host immediately if any installations, furniture, appliances, or equipment get damaged or lost.
- There is a BBQ which you can use.
- Registration: Provide your identity card or passport to the host upon arrival for registration at the Tourist Office.
Waste Disposal During Your Stay
At Nilan Studios, we are committed to sustainable and eco-friendly waste disposal practices. Guests are encouraged to separate their general and organic waste to help reduce their environmental impact.
Each apartment has two separate garbage bins – one for general waste and a second, smaller one for organic waste (green).
General waste disposal: New garbage bags can be found at the bottom of each waste bin in your apartment. Full garbage bags can be disposed of in the two green waste containers located 150 meters down the road.
Organic waste disposal: A green small waste bin in each apartment is designated for organic materials, including vegetables, fruit, paper, and other organic waste. Paper bags are used, and when full, should be disposed of outside in the waste container located behind the water tap next to the BBQ. We will regularly empty the contents of the container into our dedicated compost bin at the back of the garden.
How to get to the beach
There’s a nice walking path that leads to the beach. First, walk through the old part of Brela until you reach the main road called Magistrala (you can see it in the video below). Once you cross the Magistrala, simply follow the sign that says “Centar.” Half of the route takes you to the Magistrala, while the other half goes through Brela.
If you’re starting from Nilan Studios, it’s approximately a 1-kilometer or 15 minute walk to the beach using this route.
